May 2 saw us drive north through Pennsylvania, along the Delaware River which is the New Jersey state line, through part of new York and into Connecticut.

We spent May 2, 3 and 4 in Connecticut; although the campground didn't have a lot of amenities we usually like to have, it was a quiet and very pretty spot.

On the way in we drove through Hartford; we didn't stop but I took a couple of pictures, 30 + years in the insurance business is hard to shake!

Most of our time was spent resting up, but we did find Nathan Hale's homestead in Coventry. It hadn't opened to the public for the season but we were able to walk around the grounds and take a few pictures. Since it took us about an hour to find the place, I figured we needed at least a pictorial record.
